CNN-HD coming to Cablevision soon…
Cable Rant is hearing that CNN-HD is coming to Cablevision. Apparently viewers are seeing promotions for the new channel on the channel guide. The channel is due to be rolled out between November 6th and 8th. Cablevision is moving around its HD channels to make room apparently. CNN-HD is set to be channel 725 which is currently occupied by Sportschannel. The SD feed for CNN is channel 25 so I can see the reason for 725 for HD.
725 is currently occupied by FOX Sports New York-HD. That channel is moving next week along with a couple of others. I saw this rumor posted several weeks ago when the channel changes were announced… not only on CableRant, but also on another forum… both of the sites have been 100% accurate in the past when they have beaten Cablevision to their press release… so I guess we will find out next week.

Would be interesting if my Time-Warner cable would carry CNN-HD. Maybe CNN and Time-Warner are having trouble reaching an agreement, since they don’t have anything in common except they are owned by the same company.
