CNN Radio to examine “Shifting Economy”…

CNN announced today that Ali Velshi will host a special for CNN Radio affiliate called “Your Money At Risk” on Friday November 2nd…

CNN’s senior business correspondent Ali Velshi and CNN Radio offer affiliates “Your Money At Risk,” an in-depth, candid dialogue covering the state of the economy, the possibility of a recession, sky-rocketing oil prices, fluctuating interest rates, and the uncertainty of the job market.

“Your Money At Risk” will focus on the economy and examine circumstances that cause a recession and what that means for the consumer. This hour-long program, produced by CNN Radio supervising producer Sherri Maksin, will be available to affiliates beginning Friday, Nov.2.

Guests will include CNN’s consumer affairs and investigative correspondent, Greg Hunter; chief economist with Moody’s Economy.com, Mark Zandi, and portfolio manager of the Permanent Portfolio Family of Funds, Michael Cuggino.

Ali Velshi is CNN’s senior business correspondent and host of Your $$$$$, CNN’s weekend business roundtable program. Velshi’s “Minding Your Business” segment can be seen each morning on American Morning on CNN/U.S. Online users can listen to two weekly audio podcasts: “The Ali V Podcast” and “Minding Your Business,” and one weekly video podcast, “Show and Tell,” about technology and innovative gadgets.

“Your Money at Risk” also will be available on CNN.com’s podcasting page, which can be found at http://www.CNN.com/podcasting/, and at CNN’s dedicated space on iTunes. Additionally, CNN Radio programming, including long-form programs, can be heard streamed for the Web on the CNN.com home page.

  1. I wonder… How many affiliates does CNN Radio have. I am sure Fox has many more.

  3. Sorry to bust one’s bubble but… CNN Radio is a full-service network, providing its approximately 2,000 worldwide affiliates with the latest information in news, sports and business

  4. Me: I still would like to find a CNN affiliate anywhere that does more than the top of the hour newscast. They may provide these specials but few if any stations carry them.
