Strong night for Hannity and Colmes….not to mention Fox overall.
I know they just moved to the new studio and it takes time to build an audience, but Morning Joe doesn’t seem to be catching on at all. I would assume MSNBC will have a decision to make if the ratings don’t change by early next year. Imus is probably having a good laugh over getting dumped and watching what is happening now.

Imus is back and his legions of fans are thrilled.
MSNBC could do the right thing and put him back where he belongs.
Ratings would soar and sponsors would benefit.

FOX and oreilly had huge numbers, while Dolbermanns #’s suck and so does he.

After all the write-ups about Laura Ingraham being the permanent guest host of The Factor, I turn on a few minutes ago to see either her or O’Reilly. Isn’t that what we’ve been led to believe?
So why on earth is John Kasich sitting there tonight? What does “permanent guest host” mean if not that she’s supposed to be there whenever O’Reilly is not? Nothing against Kasich (and I loved his Saturday program), but he’s not as entertaining as Laura and Bill. But more importantly, why did Fox bother to announce Laura in such a manner if in fact she is NOT the only Factor substitue that will be used?

BOR- 4, Kiethie Slobermann- 1 Was that the sound of a toilet flushing?

#2 - I highly doubt Imus would go back to MSNBC. Olbermann trashed him as a racist after he was fired from MSNBC and Abrams justified the firing, so MSNBC burned the bridge.

Imus would bring ratings…and MSNBC doesn’t get those….

Decent numbers for SIU.

Missy,
Ditto!

BOR keeps getting bigger in the ratings. His numbers
are terrific. Poor KO keeps on sucking. And MSNBC celebrates his improvement. What losers.

John Kasich just isn’t fit to host a weekday prime time program. I totally agree with you Missy & Cella. I actually want to see an interesting host.

When does MSNBC give up on Olbermann?
Even the hard core looney lefties are tired of his constant complaining and Bush Derangement Syndrome. You can only listen to the whining, moaning, blaming, and bitching so long before even the hard core get sick of it.

When does MSNBC give up on Olbermann?
They’d be idiots to pull the plug. He’s their highest rated show, and his ratings are improving faster than any of their other shows. So, if the msnbc bosses are rational, he’s way down on their list of potential cuts. In fact, they should probably give him another big raise. He usually beats most of the CNN shows — in last month’s cumulative ratings, for instance (better to go by whole months to avoid day-to-day fluctuations), he beat all the CNN shows except Larry King and Lou Dobbs — and that was on the overall ratings. In the demo (which the all the networks pay a lot of attention to), he beat Dobbs. He’s also beating some of the FNC shows in the demo, for instance, for all last month, he beat Cavuto and Gibson pretty soundly in the demo, and came very close to Hume. So, if you think Olbermann’s the guy (of all the great options they have to cut!) that msnbc should cut, well, then, as Krugman has taught us to say, I have some great yellow cake from Niger I’d like to sell ya.

Imus ratings are only good if you compare them to Morning Joe. Imus at his best got about 1/3 of the ratings Fox & Friends gets. Get real
