  1. Did anyone see Coulter on with H&C earlier this week? Alan started his portion of questions about the Deutsh incident… and Ann laughed it off as she normally does… up until Alan said she was “using the traditional language of anti-Semitism.” That’s when she flipped the heck out!

    It was cool.

  2. The Red Eye cast are a useless bunch of suck ups. It’s amazing this piece of trash is still on the air when it gets hash marks for ratings.

  3. LOL! I need to remember to DVR that show. That was funny! Aside from Ann, Andy’s bit about the Muslims/wife beating/cartoon was very funny.

  4. I was watching this and was kind of not surprised this would happen on Redeye.

  5. Jesus was a Jew then he became a Christian. Get it? Leftist will never get it.

    Comment by SHANE — November 3, 2007 @ 3:42 pm

  6. And Jesus is not God. How about that?

  7. Jesus was a Jew then he became a Christian.

You have GOT to be kidding.

  8. Elmonica, did anyone tell Jesus?

    Comment by Dee — November 3, 2007 @ 6:01 pm

  9. Dee… don’t waste your time. To Elmonica… there’s only one God… and that’s, Elmonica.

Save your key strokes. It’s a futile argument.

  10. elmonica, I’d expect nothing less from you.

  11. I’m back. Anyway, Levy is a riot!

My favorite lines from the clip:

    1. Her next book should be entitled: “Hell is for Liberals, and why they’ll be left behind”, and

    2. What the hell were you (Ann) doing on CNBC?

    Comment by Missy — November 3, 2007 @ 8:56 pm

  12. Mona,
Jesus IS God. All Christians know this.
    And Shane,
Jesus was not a Christian. Christianity began after he rose from the dead.

  13. erljr, thank you. I should have done a better job of defending my faith.

  14. “Jesus was a Jew then he became a Christian”

    Umm….WHAT????

    iamblew….what an original name

I think you either love red eye or hate it. It isn’t for everyone. Andy Levy is pretty funny, however, the show does get a bit two lewd at times for my taste.

  15. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I must be doing something right… this is the second not “not blue” to appear on this site.

  16. Just saw - on the special Saturday night Red Eye - jokes about Lance Armstrong only having one ball left (Testicular cancer). VERY dangerous territory!

    Comment by erljr — November 3, 2007 @ 10:43 pm

  17. #5 Shane, Jesus never became a Christian you idiot. Technically Christianity is a sect of Judaism.
Also, #16 as Red Eye gets this move up to an earlier slot it will get away with less and less. It’s common senses. Carson Daly gets away with a lot more than Jay Leno does every night because he is on so much later. Same thing w/ R.E. The earlier it airs, the less it will get away with.

    Comment by Aaron — November 4, 2007 @ 3:46 am

  18. Guys, I think what Shane meant is that Jesus Christ espoused the CONCEPT of Christianity, obviously, as His role of Savior of the world. Technically, a Christian is one who follows Christ and His teachings, and Christ of course is the great teacher.

  19. I caught Red Eye for the first time last night and it was not that great. Maybe it was just me so be it but they were just not funny.

    Comment by Chad — November 4, 2007 @ 5:36 pm

  20. It was the Lance Armstrong one testicle/one Olsen twin joke. Ruined the whole show.

    Comment by erljr — November 4, 2007 @ 5:41 pm

  21. I thought the Lance Armstrong joke was funny. Then again, I am immature when it comes to what is funny.

  22. I keep waiting for the bleeps… I am disgusted with it. I cannot believe Fox is endorsing this. I love Fox news and watch it almost 24/7 but NOT THIS… I tried changing to Fox Business, but now they have paid programming now.

  23. General observation: If you don’t like Red Eye, or some part of it offends you, use your gray matter, and change the channel. Very simple. One finger needed, no mentation required. No need to let the rest of the world see that you’d rather gripe than perform a simple act of self-censorship. Besides, no one really cares if you’re offended or aren’t bright enough to avoid any particular show. I removed NBC/CNBC from my remote, so I don’t have to suffer through a picosecond of its intellectual depravity. Take a hint.

  24. Good point electron john….
but then…… why are you reading this blog, much less this post?
You keep your remote in hand. The rest of us will continue here discussing what’s happening on cable news.

  25. If you want to keep the focus on cable news, perhaps people should knock off the religious stuff. Some people seem to forget that not everyone is Christian.

  26. Forced laughter makes me puke. Levy is as funny as prunes for lunch in a diarrhea ward…..and I oughta know.

  27. RedEye rocks. What a joy to finally have a program with a Libertarian bent on the air.
