Rosie: Update

The LA Times’ Matea Gold follows the New York Times’ breadcrumbs…

Those familiar with the discussions cautioned that the negotiations are far from a done deal. If she were to take a post at MSNBC, O’Donnell would have to dramatically lower her usual fee. Earlier this year, in her talks with ABC about extending her time on “The View,” O’Donnell asked for $10 million for another year.

  4. By myview… that’s what people said about congress when it went Dem… but other than Hannity, I haven’t noticed any more or less sniping than usual. Have you?

  5. There ought not to be any brouhaha over this speculation. It would be better for Rosie to compete with Jay Leno and David Letterman. Though a comedian, she is at the same time a big joke.
