Jim, I’ve also been thinking about the luxurious resources available to Glenn Beck in prison. I’m glad someone else brought that up! Typical U.S. penal system coddling, but I’m glad he gets to do his show, anyway.

I admire Glenn Beck: even though he tortured and killed all those dogs, Glenn Beck still has the courage to continue his radio and television broadcasts from prison.

“Just because I disagree with you,” Glenn Beck says, “doesn’t mean you hate America and I love America. We all love America. We just disagree on how we should function.”

I agree with him on that.

Then he says about the Southern California wildfires: “I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them lost their homes in a forest fire last month.”

Glenn Beck hates the people who lost their homes in a forest fire last month. I don’t agree with him on that. But I respect his courage to go on TV and radio from prison and say the things he does after torturing and killing all those dogs.

Glenn Beck? Sure, I agree with Glenn Beck’s decision to surrender to U.S. Marshals three weeks before he was to be sentenced for torturing and killing Pit Bulls in a bloody dogfighting ring. But let’s not forget that Glenn Beck ADMITTED in his pro-victory written plea that he helped kill six to eight pit bulls and supplied money for gambling on the fights.

I always liked Glenn Beck’s show and I think his story is a testament to what people can overcome.
