  1. I’m sure CNN will use a snowman or some other lame caricature asking a question.. And then, even if they put on a good debate, we’ll mainly read about this one particular part. Basically, I think CNN *deserves* to have their “hard work” ripped just because they think that type of stuff is funny.

  3. Cooper looks real “thrilled to death” standing there.

  4. CNN’s web site says, ‘Lincoln, Elvis and Santa Claus send in their debate questions’. I’m not looking for anything approaching the Gold Standard in Television Journalism.

  5. I do like AC but his pose here resembles a bored runway model as he stands there with this expression that just screams, “This Prada suit cost more than you make in a month.”

  7. I am waiting to see how CNN skews the questions in order to put the GOP in a negative light.
After the game they played with the Democrat candidates, nothing would surprise me. They thought they would get away with that, but they were slammed by the everyone.

  8. Yeah, he’s probably annoyed standing there… but they’re probably getting the lights set, or doing a mic check, or giving him some sort of rundown.

Eh… the life of an actor/performer. No biggie.

  9. I am waiting to see how CNN skews the questions in order to put the GOP in a negative light.

No skewing by CNN needed there. That’s already been achieved through the GOP’s own actions.

Bill O’Reilly has the lock on the “actor/performer” role in cable tv, IMO.

  10. Marty, they’re all actor/performers to some degree. Anyone successful on television has to know how to communicate, be likeable, and to keep the interest of an audience they can’t see or hear. That’s the business.

With that in mind, yes you are correct; O’Reilly does have a “lock” on that. His continued ratings domination proves it.

  11. ^ #6 was actually talking about #3 & #5. My first post was held in the comment bin and pushed all the numbers back.
