Jose Canseco on FBN’s Happy Hour…

Jose Canseco will appear exclusively on FOX Business Network’s Happy Hour tonight at 5pm ET to give his reaction to the Mitchell report and talk about the players that will be listed in the report. FBN’s Happy Hour will break the show’s format to devote the first half hour of the show to Canseco’s reaction, with Ron Darling and Sal Marchiano providing commentary in the second half.

Canseco will follow that up with another appearance on FBN’s America’s Nightly Scoreboard at 7pm ET to give his reaction to the Players’ Association comments.

I would be remiss in not noting that Canseco is set to appear tomorrow on Fox and Friends as well..

  2. After doing a 180 turn about steroids before the Congressional committee after he advocated their use in his best-selling book, Jose has no credibility on the topic.

  3. Sorry, gotta disagree. The players he said juiced turned out to be true. If Jose says you’re a juicer then you’re a juicer.

  4. Jose Canseco is being given credibility? Wow, the people on this blog really are crazy

  5. Lurker: If you haven’t aleady, you need to read “Juiced.” Jose advocates steroids for virtually everything and anything including increasing the longevity of life to about age 120! Then a few weeks later he testified before Congress and denied everything in the book.

BTW, I was also disappointed that Canseco escaped serious questioning recently on “Sports Unfiltered With Dennis Miller.”

  6. Yes, I know when the book came out he was saying steroids could be good in some situations then he did an about face in Congress.

but If Jose says you juiced, you juiced. I’m going to stand by that.

  7. Joe Concha of FOX Sports was on for commentary and not Sal Marchiano and Ron Darling. He asked Canseco if he had any dirt on A-Rod and Jose only answered, “The report is incomplete”. If I’m Rodriguez, I’m looking over my shoulder.

  8. Looks like the exclusive is exclusive no more…Jose just trotted over to CNN and Rick after FBN.

  9. Canseco was such a jerk in both writing and pushing a book trashing his supposed friends, and then a hypocrite in testifying about it before Congress. I have no respect for the man after that.

The only point I do give him credit on is that all these athletes undoubtedly know every detail about every substance going into their bodies, from calories to chemicals, so it’s very hard to believe they didn’t know the stuff the coaches were giving them had steroids in it.
