  1. Susan, I’m just not INTO you. Alright, I’ll explain. See, I get this “Prime News” newsletter M-F.. and the last couple days when I read Susan Hendricks was filling in, I avoided her like salmonella. So, don’t think the great Erica pulled in 44K in the all important demo for one minute! Oh, and HLN, do what I said and only use the sultry Richelle Carey for fill-in duty.

  2. I think Susan’s a delight, and Erica is extremely overrated. I’ve been glad to see she hasn’t been on AC360 for the past week or so…Gary and Randi do a MUCH better job with the banter.

  3. Susan Hendricks does a capable job filling in, not spectacular, but competent for the role.

I’m surprised the show gets any sort of ratings whatsoever what with all the repeated content in the 6pm hour. Is it really that hard to stay live for two hours?

  4. Nice night for >Tucker.

  5. tucker is the best MSNBC has to offer.

  6. Tucker’s numbers keep inching up.
I think the stir about the cancellation of his show has helped!
    I have noticed this trend.

  7. Cancel that Tucker hole so he can go work at Fox. I have no problem with show being on MSNBC but it is clear that conservatives won’t turn consistently for a network that isn’t 100% dedicated to their ideology 24 hours a day. What a pathetic way to have to earn somebody’s loyalty.

  8. Remember, catch >Tucker with Tucker Carlson M-F @ 6 et.

    Comment by Aaron — December 20, 2007 @ 3:25 pm

  9. I know Tucker is a conservative, but he’s pretty fair and has a great chemistry with his guest (especially the liberal ones).

Countdown has to find a better sub when Olbermann is off, Alison seems to be getting worse. It was wierd to watch her eyes reading the teleprompter. Her extreme facial expressions drive me nuts (just like Shuster).

  10. Number 9,
I have hated to be mean about Alison. But I completely agree with you about her extreme facial expressions being unsettling. And the way David Shuster stretches his mouth at the corners has gotten on my nerves forever.
Tucker is my favorite, so it appears I agree with you on that, also.

    Comment by Cella — December 20, 2007 @ 6:30 pm

  11. >Tucker.

  12. “I know Tucker is a conservative, but he’s pretty fair and has a great chemistry with his guest (especially the liberal ones)”

    Tucker is a libertarian.

And you think you’re ideology is better? Aren’t liberals supposed to be all inclusive, tolerant, open-minded, unbiased, fair, and generally intellectually above name calling? And if you plan on rebutting with, “Conservatives speak the same way,” then you’re no better than they are you?

So, if I’m thinking of swinging over to the liberal side, what’s the incentive?
