I had heard about this ad for a few weeks but had never seen it until now. HLN is running an ad claiming that more people tune in to it per month than either MSNBC or FNC. The sole stat it mentions is that in 2007 25 million people per month, of the P25-54 Demographic, watched HLN, which is more than either MSNBC or FNC. Sounds like HLN is taking a page out of its mother network’s playbook and is tossing out CUME numbers to make itself look good.

CNBC’s Fast Money will be live today but instead of Dylan Ratigan it will be Erin Burnett hosting the show…
Even though it’s a holiday week, there is still “Fast Money” to be made. CNBC’s “Fast Money” will be on live at 5 PM ET, as usual, from the Nasdaq MarketSite street level studio in New York’s Times Square. Sitting in two nights this week for Dylan Ratigan, the host of “Fast Money,” will be CNBC’s Erin Burnett and CNBC’s Becky Quick will handle the duties one night. “Fast Money” is rebroadcast on CNBC at 8 PM ET.
Dylan returns Monday, New Year’s Eve.
Chris Matthews made an in studio appearance on the Joe-less Morning Joe this morning and quipped that Morning Joe was better than Imus was. David Shuster said at the end of the show that Matthews’ quip should be turned into a promotional spot.
