Iowa 2008: Early numbers and entrance polls…
8:30 pm - CNN is giving early numbers on the caucuses. FNC is showing “entrance poll” results which suggest wins for Huckabee and Obama. CNN is talking about the demographic breakdown of its entrance polls.
8:37 pm - MSNBC is showing early results as well. Olbermann:
There are really four races playing out this evening in each party. One group fighting for first. And one group is fighting for, “Hey, look how I didn’t suck so badly!”
So true…

CNN called Mike Huckabee the projected winner of the Republican straw vote at 5:57PM, PST.

Can somebody muzzle Blitzer?! OMG, I’m watching MSNBC/FNC due to his lameness! And Mr. Toobin was standing at the monitor earlier… talking like he had a ham hock in his mouth.. I couldn’t understand a word he said.

It’s been an interesting night in terms of the poll numbers, the Dems running in a near tie all night with Obama edging out but the Republicans having a dominate person ahead. Strange, but I guess a sign of the current political stage, and the state of Iowa’s, as Savage said earlier today, 1200 residents.
