I wonder how Tim Russert and Brian Williams feel about this?

  1. This is exactly what I was talking about! Probably the funniest moment of the night, though maybe that’s because I didn’t jump ship to the other channels too much.

  2. I’ve always thought of Chris Matthews as the poor man’s Tim Russert. But I often enjoy Hardball. It’s not a total waste of time like many cable news shows.

So it surprises me that Matthews would throw his credibility in the trash by sharing a desk with Olbermann.

  3. John McCain gave the worst speech I have ever seen. I can’t believe these people are going to follow-up Bush with this geriatric - at least we can count on him to legalize all of the illegals. HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa

    Chris,
I liked all of MSNBC’s coverage except for Gene Robinson who is unable to get his point across fast enough which results in other panelists having to cut in.

  4. I hear John McCain doesn’t like reading off the teleprompter.. Well, apparently he’s been taking “reading copy lessons” from Alexis Glick. SHEESH!

  5. I thought MSNBC did a good job…but I’d give the top honors to CNN. I was bouncing back and forth and CNN was breaking down the state by counties which was very informative…for example they were showing where the college towns were that were critical for Obama’s chances.

The panelist that I couldn’t stand on MSNBC was the editor from the Nation…Katrina vanden Huvel (sp?). It’s clear what her politics were, but she didn’t need to turn almost every issue into an opportunity to bash the Republicans. She made Rachel Maddow look like a centrist.
