I had to laugh at your views of Fox. They may repeat things but at least we know it is the truth and reported fairly, something the other cable news channels are sorely lacking.
No agenda with them.

Would it be possible to see some line graphs showing total viewer trends compared for each cable channel? By week or month for the last year or two. This is how you measure the success or lack of success of the managers business and editorial strategies. That is the type of information management is probably looking at to make future decisions. This also might change our perceptions.

I'm not saying the victim's race was important - I'm saying it was her rape accusation against the suspected killer and the pregnancy (and the fact that the Marines seemed to be treating her accusation like a joke) that hyped the coverage.

Artie: Disagree.

Marine on Marine (not just "ordinary" military) crime and Astronaut love triangles will always transcend race.

- 2hrs (5 and 6)
- 3hrs (5, 6 and 7) reason he never shuts up and never has enough time to get through his points etc

then try with tucker
- lead in to countown (this would be in comp with shep and i do belive lou dobbs)

- or if all else fails expand harball to 3hrs then have tucker come after countown or live with dan abrams

#4 - doubt it.

Military on military murder isn't all THAT unusual - military bases are communities like any other, with their soap operas, domestic violence and feuds. It was the eight-months pregnant and first missing before being discovered dead and the rape accusation that threw this one into hyperspace.

Elmo and Ali: If the murdered black woman was a Marine, ugly or not, and was murdered by another Marine who disappeared, it would be covered.

And covered

Get a grip Elmo-they won't even cover an ugly white woman who is missing, let alone a minority.

Man, >Tucker got beat by Prime News.
Spud, put the CNBC prime numbers up please.
I am sure >Tucker was probably 5th.
So, what?
It's a loyal base of watchers.
Big night for Big Bill.
Countdown @ the 7 digit mark.
Woah, Nancy. Who got killed?

I am overwhelmingly disappointed in Olbermann's third place finish. I guess we can no longer call him "Solid Second Keith". To think it was Nancy Grace peddling the same smut made famous by Fox News that resulted in her strong second place finish.

Nancy, I make the same challenge I made to Fox News. Let us see you keep your viewers tuned in for a two weeks on a case of an ugly murdered black woman.
