This weekend on the BLOOMBERG TELEVISION® program “Political Capital with Al Hunt:” As the United States celebrates the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., and as leading Democratic candidates prepare to revisit their sometimes harsh recent exchanges on race at Monday night’s Congressional Black Caucus debate, Al interviews one of its leading members, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. Norton represents the District of Columbia and has yet to endorse one of the Democratic candidates.

Also on Political Capital this weekend: Bloomberg’s Rich Miller and Lizzie O’Leary will discuss the economic stimulus proposals currently being floated in Washington by Congressional Democrats and President Bush, and on the campaign trail by the major candidates.

President Bush has just returned from a week-long trip to the Middle East, including stops in Israel, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Did the President make any progress on peace talks and oil prices? We talk with Bloomberg’s Janine Zacharia, who was on the President’s trip.

Robert Novak and Margaret Carlson discuss the possibility that no clear winner will emerge from the presidential primaries, forcing the parties to pick their nominees at their summer conventions.
