  1. Excellent interview in my opinion. Only Imus can handle anyone who comes along.

  2. Charles was reading the news about the state of the economy and Imus said, stop scaring people. Thanks Imus, the MSM does like to make everything alarming and a melodrama.

    I don’t know how I feel about Neil Cavuto? I like Jim Cramer of CNBC, he was on Imus and they asked him to describe the sub prime loan issue, Cramer defined it “Sub Prime Loans” and explained the bundled high risk bonds they turned into, that got bought up and lost all their value. It took him like 35 seconds. First time it was explained so well and in brevity.

  3. Bruce has it right….Imus is a superb interviewer with a wonderful B.S. detector…..Ree also correctly points out how well Cramer explained the current housing crisis in an understandable nutshell….unlike MSNBC, where you get nothing but left-wing Media Matters repeats, Imus covers a far wider range….and with far more skill than any of the MSNBC hacks.

  4. So how is Imus doing? Is he at all similar to his pre-April self, or his he quiet and contrite? And who is he supporting for President? I remember he used to like McCain.

  8. What happened this morning? I was watching Imus on RFD-TV, he talked about the upcoming guests, Cavuto, Dick Cavet, and James Carville. Before any of them were on, there was a strange reference to Fox(”we don’t need to go there”, “talk about that”, or something in that vein), then an effusive(for Imus!)butt kissing of RFD. They went to a commercial and when they returned they were showing the entire interview from yesterday with Jay Severin. Cavuto was NEVER aired on RFD! Imus and cast continued to talk about Cavuto the rest of the show, as if the interview had taken place, but, it was not heard, nor seen television! What’s up???? I assume it was aired on the radio as some of you are talking about it, and Imus never said anything to suggest otherwise. I am here to tell you though, there was no Cavuto on Imus In the Morning on RFD today!

  9. I’m suprised he didn’t talk about Britney Spears, AnnaNicole Smith, or even Mary Carey. Hes such an expert.

  10. Hi Aaron,

    RFD is getting every penny of their investment. Imus in the morning is back and running well. He is being careful but still has the best interviews on Radio and TV

  11. While Bruce is correct that Imus still does excellent interviews, the program has changed from its Viacom/MSNBC
    days….the language has been cleaned up {somewhat}, the satire & parodies are a bit softer, and Bernie hasn’t fully been restored, although he’s slowly working his way back in the mix. {Still awaiting a Cardinal Egan return!}

    It’s also a much more crowded show, with two black comedians added to the old lineup minus Larry Kinney…this means at times Imus’ slower pace has to be jump started a bit, in order to fit everyone in.

    I think all of these changes will be worked out and made smoother over the coming weeks…remember: Imus has really only been on the air with this new package for about 7 weeks.

    Christy: RFD-TV only simulcasts the first three hours of the WABC Radio show…..by later this afternoon, ImusTruth.com should have a podcast available of the radio version of Wednesday’s shows…you can sample the “Imus In The Morning” show on that site with its media player, or subscribe to a RSS feed of podcasts of the show.

  12. “Imus Sued Over Radio Spots
    Advertiser claims host disparaged them…in their own commercials”

    According to The Smoking Gun..

  13. Nick, thank you, but, that wasn’t my point. I could care less about hearing Cavuto, my question is, why was it not aired on RFD? Cavuto was on before Severin and Dick Cavett, Imus and crew made numerous references about him throughout the show, Cavuto was not on after the first 3 hours, he was on in the first hour or so! Again, I could care less to hear what Cavuto had to say, just curious as to why RFD obviously censored his appearance! I was equally stunned that Imus didn’t mention anything about this on the show today(Thursday)!
