EA vs. The Live Desk: He said/she said…
Game Daily’s James Brightman writes about the latest back and forth in the spat between EA and FNC’s The Live Desk over Mass Effect…
“Fox News Channel has extended several invitations to EA through a company representative to appear on ‘Live Desk With Martha MacCallum’ to discuss Mass Effect and the segment which aired on Monday. We have received no response,” reads the statement.
This is contrary to what EA VP of Communications Jeff Brown told us – that all he received was a one-line Blackberry message from the producer directing him to contact Fox’s PR team.

Well… I hear they are really desperate about making this segment happen. They have to cover up for the story about the U.S. (Bush) asking the Iraqi government to be allowed to stay there for years after he is president, Mitt Romney saying “Well, I’m not concerned about the voters,” and John Gibson mocking a man’s death for starring in Brokeback Mountain (its REALLY funny when the cover-up story has to be covered up).

This guy has BDS to the extreme, even admits it on his blog, keep getting political on every post and you’ll get bounced sooner or later.

Hey Paco, Did you know that we still have troops in Kosovo when President Clinton said that US Troops would be there for a year? How long is it now? By the way, did you know that kosovo is a quaqmire and that Kosovo is #1 hotspot for Islamic Extremist, Drug Trafficing and Human Smuggling of Europe? I guess not! Paco, Say no to war! Unless a Democrat is President…

It seems biz week has picked up this story as well. It ought to be interesting whether FNC can bring themselves to apologize twice in the same week over different embarrassing situations they find themselves in.

I believe there have been no casualties in Kosovo. No where any close to the 4000 deaths in Iraq.

Staying on topic my guess is that the original story is true that the producer sent a one line text for EA to contact the Fox PR department. Since EA has complained Fox wants to appear receptive to their complaints.
Now, for my off topic comment:
Paco,
You do realize that very few people on this blog are paying any attention to your daily diatribe. Our troops have been in Germany since the end of WWII should I complain to every president about that or how about South Korea and Japan.
Perhaps I should complain to former President Carter for his ineptness during the Iranian Hostage Crisis or to former President Clinton for his bumbling diplomacy with North Korea.
Presidents make decisions that you and I may disagree with but that’s why they’re elected…to make decisions.
Your rants are nauseating and do not follow Spud’s guidelines for responsible posting. As Missy & Lurker stated above you’re going to be banned from posting on this blog.

I think we ought to leave Paco alone. He is a fan of TruTV.

Paco get real for God’s sakes. We have been in Germany, Korea, Japan, when do you think we will leave Iraq? Tomorrow? Wise Up!
