Spud, where are the Wednesday numbers?
Huge night for the 8Et hour.

Did you ever notice that no matter how well Olby does, Oreilly always manages to beat him by about 2,000,000.

I find it crazy how H&C managed to squander 1/2 of BO’s P2+ last night.. we’re talking a net loss of nearly 1.5M viewers. But, I’m sure Ira has a grand theory of where these viewers eyes went.

No need to theorize; they all went over to MSNBC to watch the debate.

Terance: Grandpa has the correct grand theory!
It appears that MSNBC retained a greater percentage of the audience for the post-debate wrap than their most recent Dems debate.
Comment by Ira — January 25, 2008 @ 11:19 pm
Judging by the drop-off in the 2nd hour, it looks like most people adjusted their viewing to minimize their Olbermann exposure.

So much for Headline News beating MSNBC. The debate was MSNBC’s highest rated yet. I wonder how they reacted to Mitt Romney saying “I don’t care about the voters!”
Comment by Paco — January 26, 2008 @ 9:27 am
Oreilly beat the MSNBC debate and all of MSNBC viewers came from Oriellys audience.
Comment by foxmeansbusiness — January 26, 2008 @ 10:47 am
Maybe MSNBC should ask to host a debate every night of the week. That seems to be the only way that this network can get any decent ratings…and even then, it is never a guarantee.
