The ‘ole OREO joke, eh? SHAME on Kyra Phillips.. its a wonder they keep her around seeing she’s in “the weeds” every time breaking news hits.

Oreo references, jokes about people’s skin color, on air. Is this for real? We, the cable news audience, deserve much more respect than that.

Ok I’m going ahead to say it…what is so bad about what She said?…how is it racist?..why can’t Blacks and Whites joke about race without it labeled a outrage?..it was a stupid but harmless joke that didn’t hurt anybody….lighten up people.

To a level, I’d agree with mlong here, it appears it was in good fun between a few people bored in the middle of the day, but eh, kind of a head turner to read, let alone probably see live.

It appears that this was made in the heat of fun, but if people are upset people are upset. I also highly doubt Kyra Phillips is a racist, but you never know.
