Zzzz…Zzzz…oh, I must have nodded off there watching the debate. It was a little um, sedate. Other than that, although the moderators weakly tried to develop a contrast in policy between the candidates, nothing significantly distinct emerged. I wasn’t counting, but it seemed that Clinton was given about 60% of the questions, and on top of that she generally took more time to respond. I’m not even sure Jeannie Cummings from Politico.com ever asked Obama a direct question, although she had plenty for Hil. Overall it was a love fest, especially the last question and the passionate hug at the end (I’m sure rednecks in the deep south will love that!).

I thought it was a good debate. At this point I’d rather hear what candidates will do if they are elected and not get into shouting matches. I know the combat draws ratings, but this is supposed to inform, not entertain. Watching Romney and McCain at the Republican debate go on and on about what Romney meant by “timeline” was ridiculous. It took unelectable Ron Paul to inject common sense and point out that they should be debating the foreign policy.
Anyway, I like giving the candidates time to answer questions and hopefully the 30 second sound bytes and the raising of the hands nonsense is finished.

I thought the debate was great. Hillary Clinton won. But Barack Obama did a wonderful job as well.

I actually watched the entire debate and thought it was interesting. The best part was Wolf Blitzer barely talking at all..

I WATCHED IT WITH FEW OTHER PEOPLE AND WE AL AGREED THAT THIS WAS NOT A DEBATE, FOR THE MOST PART WAS THE “CLINTON HOUR HOSTED BY BLITZER AND C-N-N”.
CLINTON WOULD NOT STOP TALKING SHE WENT ON AND ON WITH HER ANSWERS,AND BLITZER WOULD NOT TELL HER EITHER,THERE WAS ANOTHER CANDIDATE THAT SEEMED TO TRY TO GET HIS WORD IN.
IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH SHE MADE SURE SHE PLUGGED HER TIME THAT THE CLINTON BOUGHT AT “HALLMARK STATION”.
OVERALL WITH THE FEW MINUTES OBAMA HAD HE DID WELL WITHOUT ANNOYING PEOPLE.

^ Lynn, the only part you got right in that post is concerning the Hallmark plug.

I guess for someone who can’t make up his mind about which one to vote for…it wasn’t helpful because now I don’t want to make up my mind, I want them as a team…but for democrats as a whole…IT WAS AWESOME…our party should be proud that we have put up a woman and an african american to become the leader of the free world!!!

Obama can make a fantastic VP for now a job learning for Presidency. He keeps rubbing on our tv screens that he did not vote for the war therefore makes him decisive and a better candidate? Not at all!! 911 tested all of us here at home. Noone knew exactly the right thing to do. No one knew in 8 years if their vote was right or wrong. We all wanted justice. Who could predict that Bush would detour our troops to Iraq? Our troops were 1st stationed in Afganistan, where Osama was. So how can everyone along with Hillary’s vote for the war be wrong? It is a catch-22. Why? when the war began on Bush’s watch in Iraq, bodies piled, our troops are in arms way need our support. How can we not fund the war just because it is the wrong war? Are we going to let our troops suffer because we cannot make up our minds here at home? Iraq is the wrong war but not Afghanistan. It was our moral obligation to capture Osama but to detour to Iraq was not Hillary’s fault, that is Bush. Obama should shut is trap about his vote and talk about how we can end it now safely. Also we need to stop this president in making any treaty with the Iraqi gov about keeping our troops there forever. That is absurd!! Only Hillary has brought this up at least 3 times during the debates. Obama does not appear shaken up by this knowledge. Obama has no experience and the only thing he can keep talking about his vote. Really, who are we to judge anyone in regards to their vote strategy. I believe in my heart no one could predict the future. If Obama thinks he is right and never makes mistakes, then I would be concerned about his judgment.Sorry, he is does not score big on his vote. He like Rudy keep harping about what he did as mayor for New York during 911. People got sick of Rudy and I am getting sick of Obama. No one needs to explain their vote for this wrong war. This war was Bush’s personal vandentta against Hussein during his father’s time. How can we allow Bush to make us believe that this war was neccessary when it is totally unrelated to 911? What we need to do as people of the United States is to impeach Bush, Chenney and Rumsfeld for starters. Our presence in Iraq evokes hostility against us. The American people want peace not war. Only cowards will stir one and run away when no one supports him. Bush keeps robbing us and we are not stopping him. How can we be so naive? About taxes, why aren’t we paying taxes to balance the budget? Why don’t we want poeple who are making over 100,000-1,000,000/yr pay higher taxes? The middle class and the poor are the majority here. Your votes will make and force rich pricks who are on our tvs pay their long overdue share to this country. Because of Bush, they have been getting tax breaks they don’t deserve. Do you know the breaks rich people get? So people your vote in November is the most important vote that will change this country to a sensible and fair path. We are a Super Power nation and we are borrowing money from China who are now laughing at us. We are in debt…. How much money has Bush printed since he stepped in the WH? What kind of moral meter he operates on? Our economy is in the pits because of him and yet he is still the President. I am asking all of you pundits who are Republicans to impeach this President because our nation is suffering because you put him there. The 3 stooges need to be impeached and exposed!! When they leave the WH, they have pocketed all our money and left us broke!!

Hillary will be a great woman leader for this country. Women need to see a woman take the WH and the men’s club. If anyone can do it, it is Hillary. So you can see Hannity bitching like a whore and Ann Coulter the man on TV. Go Hillary, make the women proud her for America. Every girl and young women need to stand up tall and see that anything is possible. Give your vote in November, we all will.
