Okay, let me just see if I understand your "logic" here Shaun.

FOX loved Rudy... and was working to promote him.

Rudy drops out of the race.

Rudy endorses McCain.

FOX hates McCain.

Do we see the contradiction in your thinking? If FOX was all kinds of pro-Rudy, they would have followed his lead, and begun supporting McCain.

Fact is, they're not supporting either of them, nor the other candidates. Right now, the big story is how the conservative establishment does not like McCain... that's why they're focusing on that story a lot... just like the other networks.

Never a conspiracy theory about FOX you didn't like, right Shaun? *Sheesh*

Sorry, I meant, Rudy could only manage a third place finish even AFTER Thompson pulled out.

Oh, and Pat, two words: Rudy Giuliani.

TONS of free media on Fox, nothing even close to a presidency. At least Edwards finished second in Iowa, ahead of the frontrunner at the time. Rudy couldn't even manage a third place finish AFTER Thompson pulled out. And that was even with Hannity slobbering all over himself pushing him down the throats of all his viewers and listeners.

Fox had nothing to do with either candidacy going down.

A bit dense aren't we eddiebear? Elmo was making a funny about how much Fox is against McCain as the nominee (along with the entire conservative movement, See: Rush, Hannity, Coulter, etc.), yet he is the frontrunner. It is driving them crazy.

Point: Fox is impotent even within the Republican party, let alone the Democratic one.

elmo:
So, on the one hand, most lefties have been crying that FNC has/had been all-Rudy, but now you claim it is all-McCain? Heck, even I caught a lot of the anti-McCain spin on FNC recently.

You're comment is as silly as Lanny Davis claiming that MSNBC is pro-Obama, ignoring who the $4million man is supporting.

Elmonica! You have finally admitted the importance of Fox.
I'm impressed, although it did take you quite some time to get it.

Shaun,
If the Democrats don't win in 2008 surely it is because of their lack of exposure on Fox News. Look at how Fox News is helping John McCain get the Republican nomination.

Go >Tucker.
Nice night for CNN Election Center.
Btw, about the whole Carville and Begala being suspended thing. Today (Mon) on 5:42 ET Carville was TSR. Why?

I got tricked and didn't realize Erica Hill started on AC360 Friday! For some reason I thought she started on Feb 2nd, but came to realize that was a Saturday. Anyway, I'll be tuned in tonight. So, it looks to me like AC360 beat out Greta in that lucrative demo again..

Where are Thursday's numbers? Gee, you'd think CNN's recordbreaking debate would at least get more than a "What's Hot" mention on this CABLE NEWS site? Perhaps, it's because it doesn't support the notion that any candidate has to debate on Fox to reach a large audience, which is a concept that Spud seems to be quite invested in. CNN had the most watched REPUBLICAN debate as well which kind of makes that a hard point of view to argue.

Not to mention the fact that every Democratic primary/caucus held so far this year has broken records. So it doesn't appear that the Dems are having any problem being heard or reaching an audience.

The only candidate that appeared on Faux with any regularity was Kucinich... And we all see how well his campaign turned out...
