Karl Rove joins FNC…
FNC’s release on Karl Rove joining as a contributor…
Karl Rove, Senior Advisor and former Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush, has joined FOX News as a contributor. Rove will make his debut during Fox News Channel’s (FNC) live primetime coverage of Super Tuesday on February 5th.
At the White House, Rove oversaw the Office of Political Affairs, Office of Public Liaison, Office of Strategic Initiatives, and Intergovernmental Affairs Office. Prior to his tenure there, Rove was the chief strategist for the Bush-Cheney 2000 Presidential campaign and served as president of Karl Rove & Company, a public affairs firm based in Austin, Texas.
Previously, he was a member of the Board of International Broadcasting, which oversaw operations of Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty, and served on the board of the McDonald Observatory. Rove also taught at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and in a joint appointment with the Journalism and Government Departments at the University of Texas at Austin. He has also been a member of the board of regents of two Texas public universities.

Karl Rove sings like a locust and chews his matted hair. He breezes through harrowing suburbs until his cheeks cave in.

They had a slick ad featuring him and their other talent that I saw today.

*Sigh* Any network would have been happy to have him join them. Not because of WHAT he stands for, but because of WHO he is. He is a deep insider, with real experience. In other words, he’s been there… not just watching and speculating from the outside.
Now, you may not agree with him, or what he’s done… and that’s fine. But his input as someone who has been there is valuable! Whether it’s valuable as a lesson what to do, or what not to do, is up to the viewer… but his knowledge about and experience in America politics at this time is virtually unmatched.

Congrats to Spud who broke the news days ago.
This will start to crowd NBC’s ‘the worst person in the world’ list. Maybe they’ll have to drop O’Reilly from the rotation? Mmm. Nah, they’d sooner stretch the wretched show for 2 hours.
