Don’t you think she deserved more of a farewell than that?

LOL yeah that was a very cheap farewell…and I bet that hat was the only parting gift she got.

I’m surprised she got any send off under the circumstances. MSNBC publicizing on the air that they’re sending away the person who is arguably their best daytime anchor isn’t the kind of thing I would want to highlight if I was them.
And yes, if they’re going to give her a send off after all these years it deserved to be more. Randy Meier got an on air standing ovation from the crew when his contract wasn’t renwed…which must have looked rather bizarre to viewers since nobody had said on the air he was leaving.

Wonder why she is leaving them?

NBC 2.0

I suppose the reason she didn’t get the same farewell as Randy Meier is because she isn’t actually leaving the company. She’ll still be appearing on MSNBC fairly regularly I would think, just not as an anchor.

Can’t say it enough - I love to watch Chris Jansing. She exudes class and integrity. I might see her more often because I am now watching NBC more than MSNBC. Plus maybe it’s best she’s leaving that network before they have her apologizing for something someone else said.
