He's not exactly getting a fair shake, regardless of how stupid his choice of words were. What I don't like is Clinton writing a letter to the network essentially calling for Shuster's firing given that a debate is hanging the balance. This isn't the first apology Shuster has had to make, so I wouldn't fault MSNBC for making a business decision that Shuster is too much of a loose cannon....but it wouldn't be right if this was a case of Clinton muscling the network by putting their debate in the balance. Not defending Shuster’s remark, but as this transcript reads they left out the praise that Shuster heaped on Chelsea Clinton before he made that remark.
