Shuster: Enough is enough?

The Politico’s Mike Allen says the Shuster camp, for lack of a better word, is circulating an email…(via Fishbowl DC)

David Shuster’s friends and family circulate an “Enough Is Enough” e-mail, pleading for some consideration of the context of his foolhardy remark.

Update: And then there’s this

  2. I second it why not? Imus couldn’t answer his critics for 8 months let them get their side out now.

If The Clinton Campaign keeps this up Demonizing Shuster and Villianizing MSNBC, they may give Obama the best reason to cancel the Debate…He can state he won’t appear to debate, as not to condone the coverage of the Clintons on MSNBC, boy wouldn’t that make Obama look like the Big Man! The Debate will help Hillary more then it will Obama. The upside of down.

  4. Okay this clearly starting to turn into another Clinton “Crying game” type stunt to help turn voters (IE:Women) to St.Hill by feeling sorry for her because some mean o’Man is picking on her little girl….what Shuster said dose not deserved this much attention…

Plus as pointed out at other sites KO and other members of the MSM have said simler things about the Bush twins and others and weren’t forced to apologize or get suspended…why is Chelsea so special that she’s immune to any criticisms?

  6. Come on, Let Shuster get on with his life. Enough IS Enough. It’s not like he’s ever said anything bad or incorrect about anyone ever before.

  7. Spud, can you imagine what is going to happen to MSNBC if Hillary is elected? If she can control them when someone makes a statement as Shuster did (I totally agree with what he said) now with her just running for president what will it be like later. It blows my mind that the Clinton’s has so much power over a network for heavens sake. CNN and NBC are both controlled by the Clinton’s and people want to say Fox is run by the Bush’s…No comparison.

  8. There are at least two women on Malkin’s blog telling me that same thing, if it happened to my daughter, couldn’t I empathize. Emotionally Identfying Women…Vote -Check.

I don’t get people who form opinions from their emotions, it makes me feel…fill in the blank …..your emotions can change with your moods. I lead with my head, I can worry about how I feel about something later. The demographic that Hillary’s campaign was aiming for, direct hit. Who can lay a guilt trip on you better then a mother?

I agree. Enough is enough. Hillary’s daughter will have to learn to face other hardships that life will present to her.

  11. Of course Fox would have fired Shuster because he is irresponsible, don’t we all already know that he is.

    Comment by Aaron — February 11, 2008 @ 7:48 pm

  12. FOX already fired Shuster once, for allegedly being “irresponsible.”

  13. Guess he doesn’t like his own medicine. Maybe he’ll learn about the law of cause and effect from this. I’m not too optimistic about that, but one can hope.

  14. I call bulsh-t on the anonymous Fox insider piling on Shuster. The karma of Irena and company is just completely destroyed. How low can you get? Really? Gross.

  15. I still don’t understand how Shuster’s comment has drawn so much ire and retribution, yet Olbermann, Matthews, and Tucker have said far, far worse and not even gotten a slap on the wrist. Just goes to show that MSNBC is willing to throw one of its own under the bus at the slightest sign of annoyance from their liberal base.
